1.2. Navigating the Form

The header of the each tab contains:
 
1. A description of the form or your customer's document ID number
2. A logo (this is usually the logo of the customer who requests the data)
3. The date by which the form must be returned to your customer. If this date has passed, you will see the text in red and a notice that it is overdue
4. The CMAP reference to identify the form version
 
 
The form must be completed in English. However, language support is provided, click on the down arrow and your chosen language to select the language.
 
The informational message (see 1.1)  will reappear. Close this to enter data.
 
 
The green navigation panel will highlight your progress in completing the form.
The form begins with the Business info tab and ends with Sign Off tab.
The active section appears in a lighter green than the others.
Only one section can be active at a time
 
You must enter complete every mandatory field in a tab before you can progress to the next tab.
Mandatory fields appear in red.
 
After completing the mandatory fields in a tab, you must click the Validate and lock section button to move on to the next tab.
You will not be able to move on without clicking the Validate and lock section button.
 
Section is locked - click Unlock Section to edit will appear across the tab if it validates successfully and you will move to the next tab
 
If the form fails to validate, a window will pop up with an error.
Close the window, correct the error and then click the Validate and lock button again.
 
 
You can click on earlier tabs to modify data you previously entered.
 
 
Click Unlock section to edit data in a previous tab/section.
Click the Validate and lock section button to move on when done.
